Echt, crazy groep, dat The Darkness, nooit ernstig. Komen ze nu met de geilste hoes van 't jaar op de proppen. Wie dolle aangebrande  Engelse fun minder goed valt, kan zich dus best onthouden van dit The Darkness en alsnog ook van deze review. Zonder meligheid maken ze je positieve vergeet-je-zorgenplaatjes. Oppeppers. Zijn daarom nu des te meer de juiste band op het juiste moment, toch? Zeker met dit Motorheart. Die plaattitel is samentrekking, eresaluut aan Mötörhead en Heart in wiens positieve energie en melodieus talent ze zich helemaal herkennen. Konden die titel zelfs nóg langer maken, door ook iets op Queen, Aerosmith, AC/DC, The Who of Guns N' Roses...
