Paramore. Wie heeft hen daar zo onzalig tegen hun glazen hoes gekwakt? Ze komen uit Tennessee en bedrijven al sinds 2005 met zekere regelmaat pop-/rockpunk en emocore. Laat de geeuw en nee, loop nog niet weg. Al is het gekende trio al een heel tijdje zijn frisse kinderschoenen uit, ook in de huidige jaren is het beslist niet bij de pakken gebleven. Met altijd van een flinke dosis adrenaline voorziene songs voelt het zich zelfs in een donker tijdvak als 2023 nog als een vis in het water. Vandaar dit onvoorspelbaar behendig zesde album vol dampende artpunk. Of noem het omwille van zijn overvloed aan gedreven ritmes evengoed spetterende postpunk....
