Op 5 april gaf GoGo Penguin een livestream-optreden in de oude Granada Studio’s in hun thuisstad Manchester, een vermaarde oude studio waar vandaan de legendarische Factory baas Tony Wilson zijn vers getekende bands zoals Joy Division aan de wereld presenteerde maar wat tevens de plek was waar het fameuze Coronation Street werd opgenomen. Onderhand omgedoopt tot de Versa Studio 4 heeft GoGo Penguin de studio al jaren gelden omarmd. Ze speelden daar in 2016 voor publiek, met camera’s, een livesessie en ook hun vierde album A Humdrum Star werd er opgenomen.
