Glen Hansard, de Ierse bard, behoeft hier geen nadere introductie. De Ierse singer-songwriter was niet alleen voorman van The Frames, ook solo wist hij ons al meerdere malen te verrassen met zijn muziek vol bezieling en emotie. Zijn debuut maakte dat in 2012 al overrompelend duidelijk, er volgden meer mooie albums en nu komt er, na het bloedmooie, uit 2019 stammende This Wild Willing, een nieuw album van de sympathieke Ier. Rond de coronapandemie veranderde ook voor Glen de wereld. Hij ging niet stilzitten maar werkte onder meer samen met Eddie Vedder zowel in de studio en tourend als lid van The Earthlings.
